EA Translation is developing its services and is therefore looking for several proficient translators.
Why working as a translator for EA Translation?
EA Translation is a small, relatively new translation company that drives towards expansion and development. Our smallness makes it easy for you as a translator to get a personal contact with us in the company. We want to give you the opportunity to spread your wings, and to be able to work from wherever you want and still get well paid for your work. We are aslo very keen on paying out your payment in time.
As a translator for EA Translation you should provide translated and proofread texts of high quality ready to be used or published. It is important that the texts are linguistically, stilistically and terminologically correct with a uniform use of expressions, terms and abbreviations.
What competence requirements do we have?
You should have an education in translation, or you should have worked at least 5 years in the area you are translating and then had the source language as working language.
What technical skills do I need to have?
We prioritize translators that are used to working with the most common softwares, together with SDL Trados or compatible translation tool.
Do I need to translate into my mother tongue?
Yes.
How do I get paid?
To do translation assignments for EA Translation you need to have a Tax ID.
Which language combinations are we looking for?
In the first place, we are looking for the following combinations, but if you are interested in translating other combinations, you are also welcome to contact us.
English - Swedish
German- Swedish
Finnish- Swedish
Do I need to do a test translation?
Yes, you need to do an unpaid test translation of about 150 words before we can include you in our register. You also have to be prepared that some customers require a short unpaid test translation before they approve you as a tranlsator.
